The SWVLGA met at the end of October for their AGM at Teignmouth Golf Club. For the past two years Cornwall, in the hands of Jenny Hamilton and Jill Simmons, have been responsible for organising the Spring and Autumn Field Days. They had very successful meetings at Teignmouth and Lyme Regis in 2017, and at Isle of Wedmore and Trevose this year.
The Inter-County Trophy was closely contested and it was a close run thing between Cornwall and Devon, with Devon just winning it by one and a half games. We must do our best to get it back next year!
The finances were very healthy and we managed to make slight profits on all Field Days. We thus handed over to Devon, who took over from Cornwall at this AGM, a surplus of £429.
