NEWQUAY G.C – SUNDAY 9th of OCTOBER.
After a very busy summer the U18 Girl’s County Championship took place at Newquay Golf Club on Sunday 9th October.
Due to other commitments unfortunately a few of the girls that took part in the Intercounties were unable to compete in the tournament.
There were a few trophies to play for and it was lovely to see all the winners finishing of what was a great 2022 for Cornwall Junior girls Golf.
The Futures Cup (36-54 handicap) was won by Olivia Tucker from St Austell with 15 points over 11 holes.
The U15 Scratch Cup was won by Ella-Grace Crocker from Carlyon Bay with a gross 88.
The Nett was won by Evie Palmer with a score of 72 from St Mellion.
The U18 Stableford Cup was won by Hannah Mcgrath from Carlyon Bay.
The U18 runner up was Sophia Hallett with a gross 88.
Winning this year’s U18 County Championship was Maddie Watson who had a fab round with gross 80 from Carlyon Bay. This was a fantastic way for Maddie to finish her final year as a Junior.
