Following the announcement by England Golf that they have extended their initial blackout of events until 27th July, we have regretfully had to cancel both the Baron Rose Bowl due to be played at St Enodoc on 10th June and the Inter Club Handicap Shield due to be played at Launceston on 17th June.
The Gammon Trophy, which is scheduled to start within this blackout period, will be reviewed in the coming weeks to see if it might be possible to reschedule the matches for later in the season. Of course we don’t know at this stage if there will be any season at all, and if there is, if we could feasibly condense four rounds of the Gammon Trophy into the time available to us. In the meantime the first two rounds, due to take place on 7th June and 12th July will not take place on those dates.
I hope you are all staying safe and for those of you working as key workers, wherever that may be, we all applaud you.
