This year’s Junior Girl’s County Championships were held at Looe Golf Club on 18 June 2023 and were run alongside the Junior Boys County Championships.
It was lovely to see the girls all in good spirits and raring to go, even with the threat of Thunder storms and heavy rain showers!!
Winning the Futures Cup (37-54 handicap) and retaining the trophy from last year was Olivia Tucker from St Austell Golf Club with 24 points.
Winning The Stableford Cup was Mabel Gosling-Brown from Radnor Golf Club with 35 points.
Winning The Nett was Genevieve Facey from St Austell Golf Club with a Nett 72
The U15 Gross Cup was won by Alex Simmons from Tehidy Golf Club with a Gross 91
This years Junior County Champ runner up was Lizzy Nile with a gross 88.
Winning this years U18 Junior Girls County Championship in her final year as a Junior was Sophia Hallett from Mullion Golf Club with a gross 84.
