County Captain Vicky took the second team away to Churston to play Devon 2nd team. It was particularly hot weather, especially to play 36 holes. Hopefully lots of water was consumed. County Vice President Mo Hammond went along to support the team.

Carmel Connors and Kate Drakeley halved their match.
Angie Chapman and Cheryl Jose won 2&1.
Dawn Emmerson and Pauline Clifton won 6&4.
In the Singles-
Carmel won 4&2
Cheryl lost 2&1.
Angie lost 3&2.
Pauline won 4&2.
Kate lost 4&3.
Dawn halved her match.
The overall result was a 5-4 win for Cornwall, who now progress through to the regional Playoff at Tiviton in October.
