Millennium Trophy
The final of the Millennium Trophy was played on September 15th. The finalists were Sarah Shobrook from Perranporth & Debbie Sedgeman from West Cornwall.
It was a close match with Sarah matching Debbie shot for shot. Unfortunately for Sarah her shots often finished in awkward places which resulted in Debbie winning 5 and 4.
Autumn Meeting
The winners of the Autumn Meeting held at Lanhydrock Golf club, a greensome competition. The winners are Nettie Ewings and Bev Sullivan both past captains from Porthpean golf club.
Results for the autumn meeting are:
- 1st Nettie Ewings & Bev Sullivan 44 points
- 2nd Pat MacMichael & Jane Barrington 41 points
- 3rd Jenni Hosen & Kathy Bennett 39 points ( on the back 9)
- 4th Anna Harry & Alison Jacka 39 points
- 5th Elizabeth Trevan & Gill Fuller 38 points
- 6th Mo Hammond & Kathy Wells 36 points
All the scores were very close and five pairs scored 32 points.
