CVLCGA match versus Cornwall Captain’s Society
7th October 2019 at Carlyon Bay Golf Club.
The weather for this match was awful at the start of the day, very wet. However, the Golf Club were very helpful as were the Carlyon Bay members playing. We decided to delay the start and play 11 holes. It was wet to begin with but improved as the games progressed. The result was a win for the Vets 6 – 1. So the Vets hold the trophy this year. The Vets team were: Kathy Wells, Liz Whitaker, Jil Simmons, Eileen Goundry, Jane Barrington, Jenny Hamilton, Pat Macmichael, Julie Finch, Wendy Collins, Sue Goddard, Pearl Carne, Chris Simmons, Joyce Cain and Gill Prodger.
