The annual CLCGA Mixed Greensome was played on Sunday 7th April 2019.
54 Pairs played the mixed in dry, overcast conditions. The strong breeze made things a bit tricky for quite a number of pairs but some local knowledge and good golf produced a great winning score of 40 points for Trevose pair Caroline Salmon and Carl Burley.
Closely followed in 2nd place was Perranporth pair Angie Chapman and Ian Kenyon with 38 points.
In 3rd place was Trevose pair Margaret Oliver and Ross Oliver with 36 points on countback.
In 4th place was last year’s winners also with 36 points Mo Hammond and Paul Collins from Falmouth and Tehidy
In 5th place were Carol and Chris Waights with 35 points from St Enodoc
In 6th place were Catherine Knomholc and M Jarvis with 34 points also from St Enodoc
Best Front 9 prize went to Trudy and Kevin Metherell with 21 points from St Austell
Best Back 9 prize went to Letitia Rivett Old and Chris Old with 18 points from Falmouth
There were 6 paying 2’s each receiving 14 balls.
